Download and install Franson's GpsGate software: https://gpsgate.com/gpsgate-splitter (one-time
license fee of $39.95 USD)

Open the software and use the Setup Wizard to add your USB or Bluetooth GPS
puck. When you are finished, you should see the GPS as connected and data
will be flowing in as noted by the "Green" status:

Under
the "Output" tab, you can add any COM ports that you would like the GPS data
to be found on. To send data to the GPS server, select the "GpsGate.com
(send)" option:

Enter atlas.niu.edu into the server location, then select "Connect
options...":

Use the following "Connect options...":

Select "Next" after "OK" your Select Server settings. You can now enter your
username (contact Victor to ensure the account is created) and
password.

Click "Test" to ensure the connection is working. If there is a failure,
contact Victor. If the test is successful, please select "Advanced" at the
bottom of the window.

Change the 15 second update to 5 seconds and click "Next":

Click
"Finish" to activate and you are done!
